I had to write a letter to my next year teacher.
It was hard because I could not choose what was my favorite subject.

My reflection
I have been learning to summarise information by choosing  the most important information.
I found this interesting because I found information I never knew about Edmund Hillary.
I found summarising the information tricky because I had to go back and check if I wrote it right.
My next step is to find out more information and practice summarising it.

I am learning to summarise a text.
It was tricky to find key words. I had to read the text carefully a few times.
It was helpful to have a buddy to do this task with.
My next step is to use what I learnt about summarising and try to do this with other texts.

It was easy because I watched a slide show and I had a good example to refer to.
